We offer instructional tandem paragliding flights right here in Cape Town.
AirVentures has been a paragliding business and school since 2002. We have a very clean safety record that we are very proud of, and we do intend to keep it that way.
Originally from PE in the Eastern Cape, we are now also in Cape Town and can offer instructional tandem flight right here in the Mother City.
We are able to use both Signal Hill and Lions Head as launch sites, equally breathtaking in their own right. It is only weather that gets in the way so make a booking and we will do our upmost to get you flying with us ASAP.

Tandem Paragliding
experience Cape Town like never before
Normally we launch off Signal Hill and fly over Sea Point, with amazing views of Table Mountain, Lions Head, Robben Island and the V&A Waterfront. Landing is on the sea Point promonade. Signal Hill flights can start as early as 06h00, just after the sun rise. What an epic way to start the day!
If the wind is more South West then we can launch of Lions Head. These flights have views of Table Mountain, 12 Apostles, Robben Island and Camps Bay. Landing site is at the Bungalow in Camps Bay.
The 10-minute flight is R 2 000. Additional R 400 for inflight photos and videos. Make sure you wear closed shoes and are over 14 years of age.

Our highly experienced Paragliding Instructors have been doing safe tandem paragliding instruction for more than 20 years. Your safety is our top priority.
KALIL KAYIR
Halil is also from Turkey, and has been flying for over 15 years. Halil and Deniz add an international flavour to Airventures and an option for Turkish speaking pilots.
HANS FOKKENS
Hans started paragliding in mid 1989 and obtained his instructors rating in mid 1993 and tandem rating in 1994. He represented South Africa at the World Championships in 1995
Francois has also been flying for over 17 years. An accomplished competition pilot and B grade TFI flight Instructorolorem insum dolor amet adinisci.
BRETT ELLIS
Brett Ellis has been flying paragliders for over 25 years and is passionate about sharing the joy of free flight with his students.
South Africa Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association. All AirVentures pilots are SAHPA registered RFI Flight Instructors.
South African Civil Aviation Authority. AirVentures is a registered Paragliding training organization with the SACAA. DTO approved and in place. SACAA0055DTO
South African National Parks. AirVentures in possesion of a valid SAN Parks permit to operate in Cape Town at Signal Hill and Lions Heads.
AirVentures has been the sole South African importer of Gin Gliders since 2010. The Korean company produce some of the world’s top paragliders and paraglding equipment.
