Our prime launching site is the iconic Signal Hill, where the crisp morning air and breathtaking scenery set the stage for an unforgettable experience. Imagine soaring above Sea Point with panoramic views that include Table Mountain, Lions Head, Robben Island, and the bustling V&A Waterfront. The landing is a gentle touch down on the scenic Sea Point promenade, creating lasting memories against the backdrop of the ocean.
Our Signal Hill flights kick off as early as 06h00, allowing you to witness the mesmerizing sunrise from a unique vantage point. It’s an epic way to start your day, filled with adrenaline and the awe-inspiring beauty of Cape Town. Capture these moments forever with our optional in-flight photos and videos for an additional R 300.
If the wind direction favors a more southwestern trajectory, our alternate launch site is none other than the majestic Lions Head. Picture yourself paragliding over this iconic landmark, enjoying views of Table Mountain, the 12 Apostles, Robben Island, and the glamorous stretch of Camps Bay. The landing site for Lions Head flights is at the renowned Bungalow in Camps Bay, adding a touch of luxury to your aerial escapade.
The cost for our 10-minute tandem flight is R 1,500, providing you with an affordable way to experience the thrill of paragliding. Ensure you wear closed shoes and are above 14 years of age for a safe and enjoyable adventure. AirVentures prioritizes safety and has maintained a clean safety record since our establishment in 2002. Originally based in PE in the Eastern Cape, we’ve expanded our operations to Cape Town, showcasing the breathtaking beauty of both Signal Hill and Lions Head as launch sites.
