Book Paragliding Flight with Photos

Most people who paraglide over Cape Town say the same thing afterwards: “I wish I had the photos.” With AirVentures, you do not have to wish. Every tandem flight can include professional GoPro footage captured by your instructor during the flight, so you walk away with high-quality photos and video of the entire experience.

A standard flight costs R2,000 per person, and the photo and video package is an additional R400. The footage is uploaded directly to your phone at the landing site, ready to share.

How the Photo and Video Package Works

AirVentures uses GoPro cameras mounted to capture every moment, from the run-up at launch through to touchdown. Your instructor manages the camera throughout the flight, so you do not need to worry about holding anything or missing the best moments.

After landing, the team will show you the footage on the spot. There is no obligation to purchase. If you want to keep it (most people do), the files are transferred straight to your mobile phone before you leave.

What you get:

  • Multiple high-resolution photos from take-off, in-flight, and landing
  • Full video of the flight, including aerial views and your reactions
  • Files transferred directly to your phone at the landing site
  • No waiting for email links, no watermarked previews

Two Flight Routes, Two Sets of Views

Your launch site depends on the wind direction on the day. Both routes deliver completely different scenery, and both photograph beautifully.

AirVentures cannot guarantee which route you will fly on the day, as safety always comes first and wind conditions determine the launch site. Either way, the footage is worth it.

Fly with Instructors You Can Trust

AirVentures has operated since 2002 with a clean safety record. Every pilot on the team is a SAHPA-registered, CAA-approved tandem flight instructor. The company holds a valid SANParks permit for both Signal Hill and Lion’s Head, and is a registered Designated Training Organisation with the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA0055DTO).

Between them, the instructor team has well over 100 years of combined flying experience. Cal Dyker, the owner, has been flying for over 20 years. Hans Fokkens has been in the sport since 1989 and represented South Africa at the World Championships in 1995. Brett Ellis brings over 25 years of experience. You are in safe, experienced hands.
